Larry Andrew Wardlaw, 70, of Easley, husband of Brenda Hudson Wardlaw, passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Greenville County, Mr. Wardlaw was a son of the late Lee and Blanche Hanley Wardlaw, Mr. Wardlaw retired from textiles and was a member of the Piedmont CB Club, where his handle was Jack of Diamonds. Larry was an avid fisherman and attended Maranatha Baptist Church.
Surviving, in addition to his wife of the home, are a son, Charles Mosley; a daughter, Amanda Hernandez(Samuel); two brothers Billy and Bobby Wardlaw; two sisters, Gladys Holbrooks and Brenda Keef; five grandchildren, Andrew Jaden Hernandez, Karina Grace Hernandez, Carlos and David Hernandez, and Chase Braden Mosley; and several children that called him Papa. In addition to his parents, Mr. Wardlaw was predeceased by a brother, Charles Wardlaw, and a granchild, Breanna Jade Wardlaw.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, June 8, 2013 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, June 7, 2013 at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.
