Latrilla Henson

Latrilla Hunter Henson, 82, of 902 McAlister Road, wife of the late James Edward Henson, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2011 at her home.
Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late James Franklin Hunter and the late Lois Greene Hunter Stewart, Mrs. Henson was formerly employed with the Easley Plant of Woodside Mills and later retired as owner/operator of Classic Beauty Salon. She was a member of Geer Memorial Baptist Church where she belonged to the Naomi-Annie Brandt Sunday School Class.
Surviving are a son, Michael Henson (Grace) of Easley; a brother, James Dwight Hunter (Verla) of Easley; three step-sisters, Sandra Leatherwood and Linda Dunn, both of Easley and Louise Gillette of Greer; two grandchildren, Summer Henson and Zachary Henson; and a great-granddaughter, Nadiya Henson. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Henson was predeceased by a son, Eddie Henson, a sister, Doris Ann Hunter Brackett, step-brother, Curtis Stewart, and by her step-father, R.W. Stewart.
Funeral services will be 3:30 PM Wednesday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with Rev. Broadus Moody and Rev. Mike Mohler officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 2:30 until 3:30 PM Wednesday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
