Launa Nalley Cramer, 86, formerly of Easley and wife of the late Basil G. Cramer, passed away Thursday August 5, 2010 at Open Arms Hospice.
Mrs. Cramer was born in Pickens County, SC, a daughter of the late Lawrence M. and Mettie Smith Nalley. She retired from The Greenville News and was a volunteer at Greenville Memorial Hospital for nine years. She was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church and the Women's Missionary Society.
Surviving are her son, Everett Cramer, of Vancleave, Mississippi ; a brother, Harold Nalley, of Savannah, Georgia ; a sister, Catherine Morris, of Ocala, Florida ; 2 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Lawrence Calvin Nalley.
Funeral Services will be 3:00 PM Sunday at Fairview United Methodist Church, 200 East Church Road, Easley, with the Reverend Joe Durham officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM Sunday, prior to the service, at the church.
The body will be placed in the church at 1:30 PM.
