Laura Belle Cannon Crumpton, 84, of 204 Mulberry Lane, wife of the late Furman B. Crumpton, died Wednesday, May 24, 2006 at her home.

Born in Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Ida Lavender Cannon. She was a graduate of Spartanburg High School, was retired from Singer in Pickens, and was of the Baptist Faith.

Surviving are four sons, Furman L. Crumpton of Greenville, Don W. Crumpton of Easley, Eddie H. Crumpton of Easley, and Earnest Paul Crumpton of Pickens; a daughter, Marie Juanita Duncan, of Easley; one brother, Eugene Cannon of Spartanburg; nine grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday May 26, 2006 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown with Reverends C. F. Weatherford and Gary Pindroh officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
