Laura Jeanette Evans Gantt, 74, of 120 Robbie Court, died Saturday, March 11, 2006, at St. Francis Hospital.
Born in Oconee County, Mrs. Gantt was the daughter of the late Collie Blease and Laura Bell Humphreys Evans. She was the office manager at John Gantt Carpets and was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith.
Surviving are her husband, John P. Gantt of the home; four sons, Jerry D. Gantt of Central, Richard P. Gantt of Six Mile, Tommy J. Gantt and Phillip E. Gantt, both of Easley; one daughter, Dedra R. Owens of Easley; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Mrs. Gantt was predeceased by a son, Robin J. Gantt and a brother, Billy Evans.
Graveside funeral services will be 3:00 P.M. Monday at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
The body is at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown where the family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 P.M. Sunday.
