Mrs. Laura Looper. Kateman, 76, wife of the late Harvey G. Kateman, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2011 at Baptist Easley Hospital.
Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late Doyle and Eula L. Looper, Mrs. Kateman was a homemaker and a member of Easley First United Methodist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Joseph D. Kateman and Harvey G. Kateman, Jr., both of Easley; one daughter, Dawn K. Blandford of Easley; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Kateman was predeceased by a daughter, Donna M. Wright and a sister Virginia Cook.
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, 2011 in Baker Cemetery, Pickens with Rev. Jim Correll officiating.
Visitation will be Monday from 7:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.
