Laura Gilliland Long, 87, of 114 Tanner Court, died Tuesday July 8, 2008, at Palmetto Health Baptist Easley.
Born in Pickens County, the daughter of the late William Oscar and Iona Estella Bagwell Gilliland, Mrs. Long was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are three sons, William Eugene Long and wife, Lillian, Glenn Edward Long, and wife, Vickie, and Robert Earl Long and wife, Erlinda, all of Easley; two daughters, Jo Ann L. Avery and husband, Millard, of Liberty, and Gladys McGuire of Greenville; two brothers, John Gilliland of Greenville, and Robert Gilliland of Florida; seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m Saturday at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, prior to the service.
Family members are at their respective homes.
