Lauren Clifford Waters, 88, widower of Marceline Darlene Keller Waters, went to be with Jesus Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at the Cottingham Hospice House in Seneca.
Born August 19, 1929 in Muscatine, IA, a son of the late Lloyd and Myrtle Hall Waters, Mr. Waters was a veteran of the US Army. He retired from H&R Block and was of the Methodist faith.
Surviving are three sons, Larry Waters (Julie) of Easley, Rodney Waters (Lynn), of Granger, IN, and Ed Parks (Cindy) of Bremen, IN; a daughter, Mary Bowling of Bremen, IN; nine grandchildren, Todd Bowling, Tracy Frederick (Jared), Amy Stanley (David), Andy Parks (Carmen), A.J. Parks (Jessa), Anneka Spaid (Nick), Melanie Newton (Evan), Alex Waters (Becca) and Andy Maze (Katie) and fifteen great grandchildren, Adison and Ainsley Frederick, Jake Stanley, Contessa and Victorious Parks, Gabriella, Lillian and Griffin Parks, Cole and Carson Spaid, Hiram, Wylie and Boden Maze, Ashby Newton, and Owen Waters.
In addition to his parents and his wife, he was predeceased by his brothers, Leroy and Lyle Waters.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 29, 2018 at 3:00pm in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 2:00 - 2:45pm at the funeral home.
The family is at the home of his son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Julie Waters.
