Laurie Lee Melen, 32, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2019 at her home.
Born in Methuen, MA, a daughter of Frederick E. Melen and Gail Donovan Melen, she was a graduate of Husson University in Bangor, ME, where she earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She was employed as a Physical Therapist for Kindred at Home. Laurie enjoyed playing and coaching soccer, Clemson football, crafts, taking cruises, car shows, and spending time with her family.
Surviving, in addition to her parents, are a sister, Christine Melen Gray (Jeffery) of Washington, D.C.; her partner, Stephen Coggins of Easley, SC; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and her beloved cat, Oreo.
She was predeceased by maternal grandparents, Raymond and Victoria Donovan; and paternal grandparents, Edward and Irene Melen.
The family will host memorial services at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Clemson United Methodist Church, 300 Frontage Road, Clemson, SC 29631.
