Lawrence Joseph Mazzoni, 78, husband of Lucille Hargrave Mazzoni, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2023 at his home.

He was born in Chicago, Illinois, a son of the late Paul Joseph and Emma Romani Mazzoni.  He was a graduate of Limestone in Gaffney.  Lawrence was a US Army veteran of Vietnam and a retired courier with FedEx in Greenville.

Known as Larry by most, he valued family and country above all else.  If you were lucky enough to have a conversation with him, you know his sense of humor, caring nature and ability to listen always left you uplifted.  Larry was an avid coin and stamp collector who enjoyed hunting.  If he were still with us today, we'd be going to play his winning lotto numbers or sharing a cup of coffee.

Surviving is his wife and soulmate of 57 years Lucille Mazzoni; children:  Thomas Joseph Mazzoni and wife, Jo Ann of Sydney, Australia; Beth Hanuka of Hallandale, FL; Vincent Michele Circello and wife, Tamara of Tampa, FL.  Also beloved Kong Srimoungchanh and wife Barbara of Greer, SC.  Grandchildren:  Ryan Mazzoni, Emma Mazzoni, Kameron, Kyle and Kevin Srimoungchanh; great-grandchildren:  Maya, Logan, and Elliott Srimoungchanh; 1 brother; and 3 sisters.

The family will gather at the funeral home at 11 am, Thursday, February 16, 2023 at Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road, Easley, SC.
