Lawrence Roy West, 74, loving husband to Deloris D. West, of Gentry Memorial Highway, passed away Saturday, November 15, 2014 at his residence.
Mr. West was born on March 12, 1940, in Michigan, to the late George Bernard and Dorothy Pearl Fulton West. Mr. West was a U.S. Army Veteran, and was the owner and operator of West Specialty Products. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Berea and enjoyed boating, music, and playing cards.
In addition to his wife, Mr. West is survived by a son, Rod West (Lisa), of Greenville; three daughters, Cindy O'Neal, Christine Filter (Wayne), and Colleen Ball, all of Easley; two brothers, William West (Shirley), of Perry, Michigan, and Norman West (Lottie), of Florida. Mr. West is also survived by a sister, Ruth Ann Howard (Robin), of Florida; 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 5:00 PM on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Berea, 400 Farr's Bridge Road, Greenville SC 29617, with Bishop David Vanhauff officiating.
The family will receive friends on Monday, November 17, 2014 at Robinson Funeral Home ? Downtown from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
Flowers are optional, or memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
The family is at the residence.
