Luther David "L.D." Galloway

Mr. Luther David "L.D." Galloway, 86, husband of the late Rev. Beulah Moore Galloway, passed away Saturday, February 23, 2013 at his home.
Born in Oconee County, a son of the late James Flemon and Bessie Nichols Galloway, Mr. Galloway retired from Cosolidated Freightways and was a member of Liberty Church of God of Prophecy. He was a US Army veteran.
Surviving are a daughter, Laura Scroggs (Bruce) of Pelzer; three sons, Steve Galloway (Linda) and Stanley Galloway (Michelle) all of Easley, and Robbie Galloway (Alison) of Gaffney; three brothers, Bill and Fred Galloway of Pickens, and Ted Galloway of Anderson; two sisters, Lizzie Bearden of Pickens and Sue Simmons of TN; nine grandchildren, Crystal Pridmore, David Galloway, Stephanie G. Holcombe, Brian Galloway, Tosha Galloway, Tyler Scroggs, Austin Galloway, Cameron Galloway and Ava Galloway; and ten great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Galloway was predeceased by four brothers, one sister, and a grandson, Christopher Galloway.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 26, 2013 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Visitation will be Monday, February 25, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.
