Leanna Carolina Terry Turner, 23, of Pendleton, died on Tuesday, December 31, 2013, from injuries received in an automobile accident.

Leanna was born in Pickens County, a daughter of John Gregory Terry of Pendleton and Nellie Lucas Terry of Central.

She graduated from Daniel High School and Tri-County Technical College, and worked as a veteranrian technician at Magnolia Veterinarian Hospital in Anderson. She grew up loving to dance under the instruction of Ginny Siano-Eck.

Leanna was a Christian and believed in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior.

Surviving in addition to her parents are a sister, Gwyneth Terry, of Central; grandparents, Joel Lucas of Ecuador, South America Rose Leonor Moreina of Ecuador, South America, Helen G. Terry of Clemson; Uncle James Russell Terry of Clemson; Aunt Gina Terry of Columbia, SC; and many cousins. And her beloved cats Princess Chanel, and Prince Gucci.

Leanna was predeceased by her grandfather Roy Terry, and her husband, Samad Turner.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 1:00 P. M. in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral in Central with burial to follow in Memory Gardens, Clemson.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM, Friday at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home.

The family requests that memorials may be made to the No Kill Animal Shelter, 305 Airport Road, Greenville, SC 29604 or to the Foothills Conservatory for Performing Arts, 109 East North First Street, Seneca, SC 29678.
