Robert Cantrell age 93 of Central died on May 7, 2024.
He was born on July 31, 1930 to Cecil Cantrell and Sallie Cantrell. Robert worked as a manager for Alice Mill Manufacturing for 50 years. He was a member of Cannon Memorial Baptist Church. Robert proudly served in the army during the Korean War. He loved baseball, specifically the Atlanta Braves, and fishing.
Robert is survived by his wife, Kate Cantrell; his daughters, Terrie Kendrick (John) and Tracy Woods; his son, Gary Lynn Dunn (Janet); eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He is predeceased by a grandson, Griffin Dunn; his parents; his brother, Roy Cantrell; and his sisters Ruth Phillips and Joan King.
A visitation will be held on Friday, May 10, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Funeral services will follow at 2PM at the Robinson Funeral Home Chapel with the burial at Liberty Memorial Gardens.
