Lee G. Kirkpatrick, Jr.

Lee Glen Kirkpatrick, Jr., 62, of 107 Wadmalaw Drive, died Friday July 27, 2007 at his home after a nine year battle with cancer.
Born in Martins Ferry, Ohio, he was a son of the late Lee Glen Kirkpatrick, Sr. and Marjorie Carter Kirkpatrick. Mr. Kirkpatrick was an avid sports fan and toy collector. He was the assistant trainer for the Steubenville, Ohio High School Big Red Athletic Department for almost twenty years and was also coach of the little league soccer team.He assisted with the Ashtabula, Ohio girls basketball team and the Lakeland Community College girls basketball team in Mentor, Ohio. He worked as a radiology technologist for forty-three years and served most recently at Doctor's Care in Greenville, SC. He was a Baptist.
Surviving are his wife, Terry Spoon Kirkpatrick, of the home ; five sons, Jeffrey Kirkpatrick, of Mansfield, Ohio, Christopher Kirkpatrick, of New Alexandria, Ohio, David Kirkpatrick, of Columbus, Ohio, Glen Kirkpatrick and Scott Kirkpatrick, both of Canton, Ohio ; three daughters, Jennifer Nordstrom, of Cincinnati, Ohio, Glenna Marie Caruso, of Northbridge, Massachusetts and Rebecca Kirkpatrick, of Greenville, SC ; a sister, Maud Kalonick ,of Adena, Ohio ; 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Glenda Kirkpatrick.
A memorial service will be Wednesday August 1, 2007 at 7:00 pm at Robinson Funeral Home Powdersville Road, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley, SC. Also, a memorial service will be Sunday August 12, 2007 at 3:00 pm at Colonial Baptist Church on Gump's Lane in Wintersville, Ohio.
The family is at the residence and will receive friends Wednesday August 1, 2007 from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Also, a visitation will be from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm on Sunday August 12, 2007 at Colonial Baptist Church in Wintersville, Ohio.
