Lendsy Smith Brown, 71, husband of Grethel Thomas Brown died Tuesday, October 03, 2006 at Palmetto Baptist Hospital. He was the son of the late Butler and Ruth Cordell Brown. He was an ordained minister and deacon at the Emmanual Full Gospel Tabernacle in Piedmont.
Surviving in addition to his wife are son Randy Brown and wife Melissa of Central, Daughters Sandra Hooper and husband Joey of Six Mile, Lisa Joann Claytor and husband Paul of Salem, Sisters Doris Hart of Hartwell, GA, and Geneva Hughey of Anderson, six grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. He is also survived by a best friend Pee Wee.
Funeral Services will be Friday at 11am in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home with interment to follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6-8pm at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home. The family is at the home of son, Randy Brown, 3321 Hwy 88, Central.
