Lenora Ardis Granberg
Lenora Ardis Granberg, 95, of Clemson, South Carolina, met her Savior on Sunday, December 11, 2022 . The daughter of the late Marion Lee and Ada (Payne) Ardis, she was born on February 19, 1927, on the family farm near Pocomoke City, Maryland, as the youngest and only girl of four children (with her brothers being predeceased).
Mrs. Granberg attended the Taylor School of Business and the Bible Institute of Pennsylvania, after which she enrolled in Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina. There she met Albert Edwin Granberg of Philadelphia, her husband of 45 years before his passing in 1996. They had four children, Patty Vosburgh (Mark) of Clemson, Christine Lauhoff (Steve) of Southeast Asia, Daniel Burton Granberg (deceased), and Kathy Hobaugh (Greg) of Philadelphia; eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Besides being a much-loved mother, she taught children’s Bible clubs in her home and Sunday school at church. Mrs. Granberg enjoyed a forty plus year career as a realtor at RE/MAX Foothills in Clemson. She was a long-time member of University Baptist Church in Clemson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 30, 2022 from 1 to 2:25 PM at University Baptist Church, 411 Pendleton Rd, Clemson, SC followed by a funeral service at 2:30 PM at the church.
A private interment service will be held at Old Stone Church Cemetery in Clemson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to University Baptist Church, 411 Pendleton Road, Clemson, SC 29631.
