Mrs. Leoda "Mozelle" Turner Reeves, 85, wife of the late Ray Reeves, went to be with her Lord and savior Saturday, January 27, 2024.

Born in Pickens County, the daughter of the late George Washington Turner and the late Bessie Ellenburg Haynes, Mrs. Reeves retired from Woodside Mill, Greenville and was a member of Bessie Road Baptist Church. Mozelle will always be remembered for the dear love she had for her children and grandchildren.  

Surviving are three sons, William Marvin Roper (Rosemarie) of Greenwood, Bobby Roper of Pelzer, and Mark Roper (Becky) of Greenville; her two daughters, Yvonne Smith of Georgia, and Wanda Watt of Pelzer. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Reeves was predeceased by two sons, Edward Roper and Alvin Roper.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, February 1, 2024 at Bessie Road Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Easley.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 1:45 PM Thursday at the church, prior to the service.
