Leone Krieger Branham has passed away at the age of 106. Beloved by all of her family, she will be missed.
Raised in Minnesota, at the age of 18, she went to work for the government in Washington, DC. Later she married Emil Krieger, Captain in the Marine Corps. He died in combat and later she married the lawyer, Ernest Branham. She became his secretary here in Oconee County as he practiced law until his death in 1987.
Surviving are a son, Robert Krieger, Sr. and his wife, Barbara Purser Krieger of Seneca; three grandsons, Robert Krieger, Jr., wife Trina of Seneca, Bruce Krieger, wife Rose of Goldsboro, NC, and Bryan Krieger, wife Nichole of Clemson, SC; great grandchildren, Chase, Natalie, Candace, Alex, Reed, Stephanie and Gwendolyn; and five great great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 1 PM, Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Old Stone Church Cemetery, Clemson, SC.
The family of Leone Branham would like to thank the staffs of Keowee Place and Agape Hospice for their kind and thoughtful care.
