Leota Southerland Tollison, 93, of Easley, wife of the late Joe Tollison, passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at Baptist Easley Hospital.

Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late George and Martha Cantrell Sutherland, Mrs. Tollison retired from textiles and was a member of Cedar Lane Baptist Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Shirley (Jerry) Medlin and Wilva (Charles) Myers; two sons, James (Louise) Tollison and Maxie (Joyce) Tollison; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Tollison was predeceased by nine sisters and brothers.


Graveside services will be 11:00 AM. Friday at Graceland Cemetery West.

Visitation will be from 6:00 until 7:30 PM Thursday, September 30, 2010 at Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road.
