Leroy Lamontte Beach, Sr., 65, of 109 Park West Circle, died Monday July 27, 2009 at his home.
Mr. Beach was born in Ventura, California, a son of the late Leroy "Wallace" and Norma Hildabrand Beach. He retired from the Champion Company and was a self-employed maintenance worker. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of Glenwood Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Jeanne Edie Beach, of the home ; sons, Montte Beach (Ann), of Easley, SC and Scott M. Beach (Gloria) of Ventura, CA ; brothers, Robert R. Beach (Marilyn), of Redondo Beach, CA, Wally Beach (Liz), of Easley, SC and Mike Beach (Bobbie Jo) of Reno, NV ; sisters, Enid Oliver (Jim) of Reno, NV and Annabelle Walraven (Mark), of Hermosa Beach, CA ; a grandchild, Aaron Beach, of Easley, SC and a step-grandchild, Ben Valiusaitis, of Easley, SC.
A Memorial Service will be held 5:00 pm Tuesday August 4, 2009 at Glenwood Baptist Church with the Reverend Dale McCoig officiating.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 5:00 pm Tuesday, prior to the service, at the church.
The family is at the home.
