Peter Lester "Les" Parks, Jr. ,36, of 262 Hallmark Circle, passed away Saturday, September 2, 2006, at his home.

Born in Greenville County, the son of Peter Lester Parks, Sr. of Toccoa, GA, and Linda Pritchard Layton of Easley, Mr. Parks was an employee of BMW and was a member of First United Methodist Church, Easley.

Surviving, in addition to his parents, are a daughter, Savannah Parks of Easley; his step-father, Jack Layton of Easley; a sister, Vicki Barnett of Hodges; his grandmother, Marie Pritchard of Easley; two nieces, Ashton Evans and Carrington Barnett and a nephew, A.J. Evans.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road with Rev. J.T. Cromer officiating. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ronald McDonald House, 706 Grove Road, Greenville, SC 29605.

The family is at the home of Jack and Linda Layton, 138 Woodstone Drive, Easley, SC 29642.

Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road is assisting the family with arrangements.
