Lester Hinkle

Lester “Jack” Hinkle, a beloved member of the community, passed away on December 21, 2023. He was a man of great talent and generosity, leaving behind a legacy that will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Born on December 29, 1945, Jack’s biggest passion was his family. Jack married his wife, Pamela Hinkle, on January 22, 1971, giving them 52 years of marriage and two children together. Jack proudly served in the United States Army.
Jack's memory will be cherished by his family and friends. He leaves behind his wife, Pamela Hinkle, as well as their son Jason Hinkle (Misty) and their son Jackson Hinkle, daughter Vicky Fletcher, and her children with Rich Fletcher, Hannah (Jack) Riess, and Matthew Fletcher. He also leaves three sisters, Betty (Joe) Allen, Kathy Brock, and Margaret (Adam) Brown.

Jack was a talented woodworker, a fisherman, and a gardener. His family will treasure the bountiful garden and the many handmade treasures he leaves them to remember him by.

Jack is predeceased by his parents, Anthony and Dora Hinkle, as well as two sisters, Geraldine Grote and Bonnie Stamper.

Services to honor and celebrate Jack Hinkle's life will be held at Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road in Easley, SC. Visitation will take place from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM on December 29, 2023. A Funeral Service will follow at 12:00 PM, with burial at Robinson Memorial Gardens immediately afterward. These events will provide an opportunity for family, friends, and community members to come together and remember the special life of Jack Hinkle.
