Lettia Jane Sheriff Brooks, 80, of 130 Ruby Drive, died Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at Palmetto Health Baptist Easley.
Born in Easley, she was a daughter of the late Samuel A. and Frances Lark Sheriff. She was reitred from J.P. Stevens in Greenville where she was a training instructor. Mrs. Brooks was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church and the Joy Sunday School Class.
Surviving are a son, Stanley Brooks and wife Joan of Easley; a daughter, Gale Garrison and husband Bert of Easley; three grandchildren, Shannon Santana, Latisha Hutto, Shelley Brooks; and four great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, N.H. Brooks; and several brothers and sisters.
Graveside services will be 2 PM Thursday at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Reverend Dr. David Gallamore officiating.
Visitation will be prior to the graveside on Thursday from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM at Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown.
The family is at the home of her son, 172 Ruby Drive; Easley, SC 29642.
