Mr. Levy Gerald Henderson, loving husband to Peggy Allard Henderson, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 28, 2018.
Born in West Columbia, TX, a son to the late John David Henderson and the late Bessie Keith Henderson, he was a retired Minister for United Pentecostal Church after fifty years of service and was a cherished member of Life Restoration Center in Greenville. Mr. Henderson was known for his joking nature. He was a gardener and painter who loved model cars and collectables, among many other hobbies, but most of all, he loved God and his family.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son, Phillip Henderson of Greenville; daughters, Crystal Marie Freeze (Seth) of Manning, SC and Becky Angell (Rick) of Simpsonville; a brother, Eugene Henderson (Jean) of Tyler, TX; sisters, Aline Holtzman of Lawrence, KS and Joyce DeBarge (Sonny) of Hull, TX; and grandchildren, Lance Gray, Avery Gray, and Aslan Gray, all of Greenville; and Collin Angell, Connor Angell, and Colton Angell, all of Simpsonville.
Along with his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, J.D. Henderson and Kenneth Henderson; and a brother-in-law, J. Holtzman.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 3, 2018, at Life Restoration Center, 523 Old Easley Highway, Greenville, SC, 29611.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Friday, February 2, 2018, at Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road.
The family will be at their respective homes.
