Lewis C. Gardner, 84, husband of Juanita Jenkins Gardner, passed away Sunday, July 29, 2012 at his home.
Born in Greenville County to the late Ezra and Mary Henderson Gardner, Lewis worked in textiles as a warehouse supervisor, and was a member of Georges Creek Baptist Church.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son, Doug Gardner (Bridgett), of North Carolina; a sister, Louise Porto; three grandchildren, Allender Gardner and his fianc�e Holly, Amy Dickert and her husband Chip, and Lindsay Gardner; and four great-grandchildren, Michael, Allison, and Jessica Gardner, and Chely Dickert.
Memorial Services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at Georges Creek Baptist Church.
Visitation will be after the service at the church.
The family is at the home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Amedisys Hospice Care, 250 Commonwealth Drive, Greenville, SC 29617.
