Lewis Edward Sanders, 78, died Tuesday, August 29,2006 at the Richard Campbell Nursing Center. He was a native of Central and was the son of the late Roy and Audrey Simpson Sanders. He was retired from Cannon Mills and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He is survived by a daughter: Glenda McAlister; brother Herman Sanders of Central; sister: Louis Campbell of Easley and 2 grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery at 11am on Friday, September 1, 2006. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Trinity Wesleyan Church, 700 Issaqueena Trail, Central, SC 29630. The family is at their respective homes. Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, Central-Clemson Commons, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
