Lila Elizabeth Nalley Faulkner Newton, 92,of Easley, passed away Wednesday June 20, 2012 at Capstone Health and Rehab.
Mrs. Newton was born in Salem, SC, a daughter of the late Walter Dixon and Isabelle Abercrombie Nalley. She formerly was employed at Sangamo and was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church and more recently Powdersville Community Church.
Surviving are her son, Donald R. Faulkner, of Easley; a daughter, June Faulkner Pace, of Easley; four grandchildren, Sonya Pace Lowery, Gretchen Pace Keene, Steffany Long Faulkner and Taylor Lillian Faulkner; three great-grandchildren, Pace Lowery, Maggie Lowery and Perron Keene.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Willie Rudell Faulkner and Nathan Newton; brothers, James Nalley, Albert Nalley, Roy Nalley and Marvin Nalley; sisters, Ruth Hendricks and Ruby Hiott.
A memorial service will be held at 11:30 AM Saturday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road with the Reverend Scott Ghan officiating.
Visitation will be from 10:30 AM until 11:15 AM Saturday, prior to the service, at the funeral home.
The family is at the home of Donald R. Faulkner, 101 James Street, Easley.
