Lilla Freeman Sitton, 84, of 231 Sitton Road, died Sunday, January 3, 2010, at St. Francis Hospital.
Mrs. Sitton was born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late B.F. and Floy Heard Freeman, was graduated from Easley High School in 1942 and attended Coker College. She was a homemaker and a member of Easley Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Corinne Sitton Williams and her husband, John Craig Williams, Jr., of Easley; four grandchildren, John Craig Williams III and his wife, Jennifer Hair Williams, DuPre Carter Williams and his wife, Shauna Galloway-Williams, Coker O'Brien Watson, and Maria Watson Penagos; and five great-grandchildren, John Craig Williams IV, Sarah Elizabeth Williams, Miguel Armando Penagos, Esdras Dixon Williams, and Phoebe Sitton Williams.
Mrs. Sitton is predeceased by her husband, DuPre Johnson Sitton; a daughter, Camille Sitton Watson; a brother, Lynn Roland Freeman; and a sister, Anne Heard Freeman.
The memorial service will be 2:00 PM Tuesday at Easley Presbyterian Church with the Reverend Christie Gravely officiating. The family will receive friends in the church parlor after the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Easley Presbyterian Church, 200 South First Street, Easley, SC 29640.
