Lillian A. CollinsCentral, SCLillian A. Collins, 74, wife of Ray Collins for 32 years, went into the presence of her Lord and savior, Jesus Christ on February 18, 2016.  She and her husband were on vacation in Panama.  Lillian was born on September 11, 1941 in Clayton, NY.  She was the daughter of the late John Whattam of Clayton, NY and Rena Durham of Rutland, NY.Lillian was an active member or the Central First Baptist Church and the Gleaners Sunday School class.  She loved her church family deeply.  She was active with the Pickens County Meals on Wheels program, The Business and Professional Women's Club of America, the South Carolina Parliamentarians Association.  She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother whose love for her family was only exceeded by her love of her Lord and savior Jesus Christ.Surviving in addition to her husband Ray, are one daughter Julie Thompson Bombay (Tim) of Hudson, FL; sons, Arnold James Thompson of Iva, SC and Timothy Mark Thompson (Reba) of Easley, SC; stepdaughter, Cindy Moore (Mike) of Central; and stepson, Tony Collins (Michelle) of Central; brothers, Addison Whattam (Denise) of Crete, IL, Bill Whattam of Carthage, NY, Glenn Durham (Sandy) of Fulton, NY, and Sam Durham (Arizona) of Rutland, NY; sisters, Karen Montani (Ed) of Haines City, FL and Dorothy Carlson (Bill) of Reading, PA; 12 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by stepmother, Zellah Whattam; stepfather, Elwyn Durham; and stepdaughter, Sheila Johnson.Funeral services will be 3 PM, Thursday at Central First Baptist Church, 207 Johnson Road, Central with Rev. Tony Qualkinbush officiating.The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:30 PM Thursday prior to the service at the church.The family is at the home, 216 White Oak Road, Central, SC.The family would like to express a special thanks to Miguel Morales and Kirk Jones, missionaries who assisted Ray in preparation for the return trip home.  Their concerns and prayers will never be forgotten.Memorials may be made to the Central First Baptist Church, P.O.
