Lillian Brown Gilstrap, 92, of 835 Country Club Road and widow of Jesse Gilstrap, died Thursday, January 4, 2007 at the Easley Living Center.

Born in Pickens, she was a daughter of the late John and Flora Parrott Brown. She was retired after 40 years of service with the Eljean Plant of Alice Manufacturing and was a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church.

Surviving are a son, Curtis Gilstrap and wife, Brenda of Pickens; daughter, Shelby Jean Morgan and husband Alfred of Pickens; sister, Julia Esuary of Pickens; 6 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be 3 PM on Saturday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with burial in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 2 to 3 PM, Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home.

The family will be at their respective homes.
