Lillian Brown Landers, 74, of 450 Shoals Creek Church Road, went to be with the Lord Saturday, December 9, 2006. Mama was dearly loved and will be missed by her family.
Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late Willie and Hattie Hayes Brown, Mrs. Landers was a homemaker and a member of Nine Forks Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Harold Lee Landers of the home; two sons, Michael Landers and wife, Teresa, and Tim Landers and wife, Wanda; a daughter, Vickey Malone and husband, Terry; a sister, Louise Devall of Sumter; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Landers was predeceased by five brothers and seven sisters.
Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Nine Forks Baptist Church with Rev. Jack Hester and Rev. Ben Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The body is at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown where the family will receive from from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday and will be placed in the church at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC or to Alzheimer's Association, 301 University Ridge, Greenville, SC 29601.
The family is at the residence.
