Lillian Louise Murphy Masters, 88, formerly of 122 Mulberry Road, wife of the late Homer Lee Masters, passed away Friday, September 10, 2010, at Easley Living Center.

Born in Anderson County, a daughter of the late Joel Jeptha and Maggie Orr Murphy, Mrs. Masters retired from Poinsett Mills in Greenville and was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church.

Surviving are two sisters, Betty
McClain and Alice Powell, both of Easley; and a sister-in-law, Helen Murphy of Easley. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Masters was predeceased by brothers, Louie, Joel, Ervin, J.C. and Cecil Murphy and by sisters, Eunice Murphy, Bernice Cox, Emmy Mae Cantrell and Vivian Cox.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with Rev. Dr. David Gallamore and Mr. Don Pilgrim officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

The family is at the home of Alice Powell, 122 Mulberry Road, Easley, SC 29640.
