Lillie Mae O'Shields Galbreath, 86, of 2800 Earls Bridge Road, wife of the late Verna Sam Galbreath, died Monday, June 19, 2006, at the home of her daughter.

Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late Luther and Savannah Hasseltine Duncan O'Shields, Mrs. Galbreath retired from the Glenwood Plant of Mayfair Mills and had been a member of Forestville Baptist Church since 1932 where she belonged to the Ladies Over Sixty Sunday School Class.

Surviving are two daughters, Joan Cisson and Nancy Finley, both of Dacusville; two sons, James Galbreath of Greenville and Randy Galbreath of Dacusville; two brothers, Joseph O'Shields of Mebane, NC, and Arthur O'Shields of Liberty; ten grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Galbreath was predeceased by a son, Billy Joe Galbreath, a daughter, Betty Faye Smith, a sister, Annie Peterson and three grandchildren, Luke Cisson, Dwayne Fowler and Tony Fowler.

Funeral services will be at Noon Thursday at Forestville Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Fleming and Rev. Ronnie Powell officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The body is at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown and will be placed in the church at 9:30 a.m. Thursday where the family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:30 a.m., prior to the service.

The family is at the home of Joan Cisson, 615 North Martin Road, Easley, SC 29640.
