Lillie Elnora Simmons Timms, 88, formerly of Easley, died Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at Woodruff Manor in Woodruff.
Born in Pickens County, she was a daughter of the late Clarence Ore and Julie Durham Simmons. She was retired as a spinner in the textile mills and was a member of Easley Church of God.
Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Beatrice and Johnny Holcombe of Easley; grandchildren, Dianne, Timothy, and Hydeia Brown, Mike, Linda, and Billy Kelley, Barry Holcombe, Tammy Porter; and several great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Alvin Leroy Timms; a daughter, Shelby Jean Kelley; and ten brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be 11 AM Thursday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown. Burial will follow in Fairview Church of God Cemetery in Seneca.
Visitation will be Wednesday night from 6 PM until 8 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Easley Church of God; 511 W. Main Street; Easley, SC 29640.
The family is at the home of her daughter; 107 Mary Ann Street; Easley, SC 29640.
