Linda spent most of her childhood in the Gainesville, Florida area. She received an Associate’s in Science of Automation Secretarial degree from Jones College, Jacksonville, Florida in 1967. Linda earned a living as a paralegal for several prestigious law firms in the West Palm Beach, Florida area before moving to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina in 1987. While living there, Linda was employed as a bookkeeper for various locally owned businesses. She volunteered her time as a scorekeeper for the Hilton Head Baseball Association Dixie Youth Baseball league from 1999 to 2006 and for Hilton Head High School from 2006 to 2009, as well as the American Legion, post 0185 in 2010. Generous and thoughtful, Linda liked giving unexpected gifts to her friends and family. Linda was also an extremely passionate dog lover, especially to her beloved black lab Davis, who passed away earlier this year.
