Linda Thomas Blackston, 64, of 313 H.I. Taylor Road, died Wednesday, January 13, 2010, at her home.
Born in Ware Shoals, a daughter of the late Pete and Ruth Justice Thomas, Mrs. Blackston was formerly employed with F W Woolworth and Sara Lee. Later she and her late husband owned and operated the Minute Diner in Easley. Mrs. Blackston attended the Ware Shoals Church of God of Prophecy
Surviving are a daughter, Marcia A. Frick of Williamston, two step-sons, Eric Blackston of Florida and Ryan Blackston of Easley; a brother, Gene Thomas of Thailand; four sisters, Jackie Dickerhoff of Yulee, FL, Shirley Wilkins and Patti Smith, both of Salisaw, OK, and Dale Sanders of Williamston; a grandson, Jamie Brown of Piedmont; and two great-grandsons, Matthew and Jayden Brown. She was predeceased by her husbands, Danny Louis Allen and Jerry "Skeeter" Blackston.
Graveside services will be 3:00 p.m. Friday at Greenlawn Memorial Park with Rev. Ralph James officiating.
Visitation will be from 1:30 until 2:30 p.m. Friday at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, Easley, prior to the service.
The family is at the residence.
