(This book led to informal title as “Goddess of Measurement” later in life, which Linda found to be humorous on multiple levels). Later in her career and beyond the University of Florida, she continued to contribute to the field of test measurement by serving as a consultant on various Boards and with testing entities such as the GRE. She also served as the President of the National Council of Measurement and Education from 2002-2003.
In addition to her loving husband of 53 years, Tim, Linda is survived by her daughter Anne Elizabeth “Beth” Crocker of Seneca, SC and her son John Timothy Crocker of Atlanta, GA, as well as an extended family, which included many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews that she enjoyed spending time with.
