Linda Fay Whitmire Waldrop, 82, of Gentry Memorial Highway, beloved wife of the late Harold Wayne Waldrop, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2023.

Born in Pickens County, she was the daughter of the late Grady and Gertrude Guest Whitmire.

Mrs. Waldrop retired from Alice Manufacturing, Arial Plant, after many years of dedicated service. She was a faithful and lifetime member of Arial Baptist Church. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, baking delicious cakes, and reading daily devotions in her Bible.

Surviving are her grandchildren, Christy McCall of Seneca, and Travis Trammell of Liberty; great-grandchildren, Destiny McCall of Lavonia, GA, Willow Trammell, and Ivy Trammell both of Central; and a brother, Randy Whitmire (Syble) of Piedmont.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Jerri Harris.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 29, 2023, from 12:00 PM until 1:30 PM at Arial Baptist Church, 618 Rice Road, Easley, SC 29640. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM in the church sanctuary. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Pickens.
