Linda Kendall -
Easley, S.C.
Linda Lynette Johnson Kendall, born February 10, 1943, passed away the afternoon of, April 3, 2010, while visiting family in Ogallala, NE.
Born in Center Point, IA, a daughter of the late Paul and Opal Johnson, Mrs. Kendall was a homemaker and a member of Three and Twenty Church of Christ.
Linda had a passion for music where she enjoyed singing in high school groups during her early years, and that passion continued through out her life. Mrs. Kendall had a special love of the four-part harmony, singing with several chapters of Sweet Adelines in various cites. Linda had a gift for laughter and loved to bring a smile to everyone she met.
Surviving are her husband William O. Kendall, Jr., of Easley; a daughter, Dawn Kendall Martin and husband Michael of Easley; a sister, Donna Johnson and special friend Chuck Coffman, both of Ogallala, NE; a brother, Arlen Johnson and his wife, Rachel, of CA; and a sister-in-law, Sandy Johnson of Davenport, IA. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Kendall was predeceased by a brother, Rex Johnson of Davenport, IA.
Linda was surrounded by her loving family as she went home to be with the Lord and will be dearly missed.
Memorial Services will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, April 10, 2010 at Three & Twenty Church of Christ, Easley.
