Linda Jean Manley McAlister, 71, of S. McAlister Road and wife of Donnie McAlister, passed away Monday, April 4, 2016.
Born in Oconee County, she was the daughter of the late Blant and Lucille Stancil Manley.
Mrs. McAlister was retired from Windsor Aughtry in Greenville and was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Easley. Linda loved her family and growing beautiful flowers in her garden.
Surviving in addition to her husband, are her children, Sherril Holcombe (Roy) of Pickens, Gene Bryant (Angie) of Easley, Trinidy Bryant (April) of Liberty, Sonya McAlister Smith (Charles) of Easley and Donnie McAlister of Easley; eleven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; sisters, Rosa Lee King of Greenville, Joyce Gray of Pickens, Elizabeth Davis of Liberty, Barbara Gilstrap and Judy Harris both of Central; and brothers, Ed “Cooter” Manley of Greer and Mickey Manley of Piedmont.
Linda was predeceased by her parents and a sister, Montez Davis.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 8, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Grace Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.
Because of Linda's love for flowers, they will be accepted.
The family will be at their respective homes.
