Linda Jean Bryant Owens, 72, passed away on Sunday, November 3rd at the Rainey Hospice House in Anderson.
She was born in Liberty, SC on February 15, 1941 to the late Ernest and Geneva White-Bryant. She was retired from Peoples National Bank after many years of service and was of the Baptist faith.
Linda is survived by her sons, Mike Owens and wife Tracy of Easley, Jim Owens and wife Phyllis of Liberty, and their father, Jerry Owens of Easley. She is also survived by three loving sisters and two brothers. Joyce Courter and husband Max of Coffey Missouri, Larry Bryant of Pelzer, Barbara Nix and husband Ron of Easley, Olivia Whitman of Easley, Butch Bryant and wife Phyllis of Piedmont and her sister-in-law Dale Bryant of Anderson.
Her beautiful grandchildren are Amanda Phillips and Misty Childress both of Easley, Andy Owens of Liberty, Megan Pilgrim of Six Mile, Annie Lee of Easley, Matthew Owens of United States Air Force Base, Kandahar Afghanistan and Greg Keilman of Easley. Her great grandchildren are Ashley Phillips, Kallan Childress, Jewelyann Blythe, Aubree Pilgrim, and Madison Owens.
A memorial service and visitation will be held on Thursday, November 7th from 2:00-3:00 at Robinsons Funeral Home on Powdersville Rd. The family will have a private, graveside service at a later date.
In lieu of flowers donations can go to the Rainey Hospice House of Anderson, or The American Lung Association.
