Linda Susan Moore, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on October 4, 2023. She was the tie that binds, the heart of her family and community. Linda was born on October 6, 1949, and throughout her life, she left an indelible mark on the lives of those who knew her.
Linda had a passion for creating cherished memories with her loved ones. She had a knack for making every holiday special for her family, ensuring that they would always have joyous gatherings to look back upon. Her love and dedication to her family were evident in the way she made it a point to attend every game and competition of her granddaughters. They were not just events to her but opportunities to support and encourage their dreams. Linda's presence on the sidelines or in the audience brought an extra spark of excitement to every moment.
Those who had the privilege of knowing Linda understood that she was a woman whose heart was bigger than life itself. Her family was her world, and everything she did revolved around her children and grandchildren. She embraced her role as a mother with unwavering love and selflessness that set an example for everyone around her.
Linda's legacy will continue to shine brightly through the memories she created and the lives she touched. Her unwavering love, kindness, and selflessness will forever be cherished by her family and everyone fortunate enough to have known her. As we mourn her loss, let us also celebrate the beautiful life she lived and strive to carry on the lessons she taught us about love, family, and the importance of cherishing every moment.
Linda leaves behind her two children, Matthew Alan Moore (Sandra Lynn) of Easley, South Carolina, and Stacy Gayle Reeves, also of Easley, South Carolina as well as her precious granddaughters Katie Elizabeth Reeves and Claire Jewell Reeves of Easley, South Carolina. She is also survived by her sister, Janice Maniccia Dominey (Wallace) of Houston, Texas, and her nephew Garrett Wallace Dominey of Austin, Texas, and the father of her children, William Harvey Moore.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Marion Maniccia and her brother Fred Maniccia, Jr.
A visitation will be held in honor of Linda at Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road in Easley on October 9, 2023, from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM. It will be an opportunity for friends and family to gather together, sharing stories and reminiscing about the beautiful moments they shared with Linda. Her warm presence will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
Following the visitation, a graveside service will take place at Robinson Memorial Gardens in Easley on October 9th at 2:00 PM. As we gather at her final resting place, we will say our last goodbyes while celebrating the incredible impact she made during her time with us.
In lieu of flowers, Linda's family kindly requests that donations be made to JDRF to help raise funds for juvenile diabetes research, an organization that was close to her heart. This act of generosity will be a meaningful way to honor Linda's memory and continue her spirit of giving.
Linda Susan Moore will be remembered as a remarkable woman who embraced life with open arms, spreading love and happiness wherever she went. May her soul rest in eternal peace, knowing that she made an immeasurable difference in the lives of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
