Linda Belue Turner

Mrs. Linda Ruth Belue Turner, 79, wife of William Boyd Turner, III., went to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday, August 27, 2023.
Born in Greenville County, a daughter of the late Josephine Williamson Crews, Mrs. Turner was a graduate of Lincoln Memorial University and later received her Master's Degree from Furman University. She retired from Easley High School where she taught in the English Department for thirty years, and was an Ad Hoc Professor at Southern Wesleyan University and Tri-County Technical College. She was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church where she belonged to the Shenikau Glory Sunday School Class.
Linda loved literature, shopping and fashion jewelry. Her greatest love was vacationing at the beach and spending time with her family that she dearly loved. She will be deeply missed by all that loved and knew her.
Surviving, in addition to her husband of forty-one years, are three sons, Charles M. Miller (Amber) of Travelers Rest, Christopher B. Miller (August) of Simpsonville, and Randall B. Turner (Lori) of Greenville; a daughter, Susan E. Turner of Greenville; a sister-in-law, Virginia Belue of NC; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Turner was predeceased by a daughter, Christy Michelle Miller; three brothers, Danny Belue, Gary Belue, Sr. and Jimmy Belue; and a sister, Barbara Latham.
Funeral services will be 12:30 PM Friday, September 1, 2023 at Rock Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. David Gallamore officiating. Her sisters of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority will serve as escorts of honor. Entombment will follow in the Serenity Mausoleum of Woodlawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 12:15 PM Friday at the church, prior to the service.
