Lisa Faye Shelton, a beloved and cherished member of the community, passed away on August 21, 2023. She was born on November 9, 1959, in Madisonville, KY to her loving parents Adrian O. Shelton and Betty Kay Shelton. Lisa's passing has left a void in the hearts of all who knew her.

Throughout her life, Lisa found great fulfillment in her career as a Routing Coordinator for the Anderson School System. With dedication and commitment, she served in this role until her retirement. Lisa's attention to detail and organizational skills were widely recognized and greatly appreciated by her colleagues.

In addition to her professional achievements, Lisa held a special place in her heart for the United States Airforce. She served her country with honor and distinction, embodying the values of loyalty and patriotism that define the armed forces.

Beyond her work and military service, Lisa had a vibrant personality and a love for life that was infectious. She treasured spending time with her family and friends, creating cherished memories that will forever be etched in their hearts. Whether it was enjoying the outdoors or simply relishing each other's company, these moments radiated with laughter and joy. Lisa had varied interests that brought immense happiness into her life. She found solace in nature's beauty while listening to music or attending rock concerts. The beach held a special allure for Lisa, where she could bask in the serenity of crashing waves and sandy shores. A proud supporter of Kentucky Basketball, she avidly followed their games with passion. Furthermore, Lisa had an insatiable love for books - reading was not just a hobby but a source of inspiration and intellectual growth.

Amidst all her accomplishments, Lisa took immense pride in being a dedicated mother to her three daughters: Samantha Schwartzmeyer, Shanan Penland (Scott), and Charlotte Schwartzmeyer (Sean Hildebrand). Her unwavering love and support enriched their lives immeasurably, creating strong bonds that will continue to endure. Lisa's role as a grandmother to her four grandchildren, Blaine, Jaxon, Nadia, and Alyssa, brought her immense joy. She relished every opportunity to shower them with affection and create lasting memories. She is also survived by her father Adrian O. Shelton, and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother, Betty Kay Shelton: and a brother, Lee Shelton.

To honor and celebrate Lisa Faye Shelton's remarkable life, a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at Robinson Funeral Home on Powdersville Road in Easley, SC. The service will commence at 2:00 PM, followed by a Visitation from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location. Everyone is invited to join the family in celebrating a life well lived.
