Lloyd Randell Hollingsworth, 84, of Greenville, South Carolina, beloved husband of the late Linda Faye Bridges Hollingsworth, passed away Monday, July 13, 2026, at his residence.

Born in Pickens County, SC, a son of the late Charlie Lang Hollingsworth and Clara Finley Hollingsworth. Lloyd was a devoted and loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather who cherished his family. Before his retirement, he built a career as a heavy equipment operator in the construction industry, where he was known for his strong work ethic and dedication. Lloyd enjoyed working on his classic Chevy truck, a hobby that brought him great pleasure and reflected his lifelong appreciation for craftsmanship and machinery.

He is survived by his three sons, Randy (Leigh) Hollingsworth, Steven (Holly) Hollingsworth of Greenville, SC, and Travis (Missy) Hollingsworth of Belton, SC; five grandchildren, Eden, Grayson, Alden, Cameron, and Landon; and his great-granddaughter, Mallory McAtee; his brother, Terry "Berry” Hollingsworth; his sisters, Helen “Lit” Welborn, Debbie “Blue” Kelly, and Joan Smith.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Alexander Joseph Hollingsworth; brothers, Thomas “Red Top”, Johnny “Gunney”, James “Tooter”, William “Tink”; his sister, Inez "Baby" Bell.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until 11:45 AM on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Robinson Funeral Home – Powdersville Road, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley, SC 29642.

Funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home, officiated by Reverend Bobby A. Moore, Sr., following burial in Robinson Memorial Gardens.

Following the services, the family invites relatives and friends to gather for a time of fellowship and remembrance at Lloyd’s home, 8 Shelton Rd., Greenville, SC 29611.

The Hollingsworth family will accept flowers.
