Lois Finley Jewell, 95, of Liberty, wife of the late Ilar Robert Jewell, passed away Thursday, January 15, 2015 at Rainey Hospice House.
Born November 26, 1919 in Easley, she was a daughter of the late Quillen and Ida Duncan Finley. Mrs. Jewell retired from J.P. Stevens with thirty-two years of service and was a member of Flat Rock Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children, Betty Jones, Robert Jewell (Frances Kay), Sarah Waldrop (Dennis), and Donald Jewell; eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren and fourteen great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and siblings, she was predeceased by her grandchildren, Teresa Bates and Shannon Jones.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
The family is at their respective homes.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Rd., Anderson, SC 29621.
