Mrs. Lois Brown Martin, 85, of 113 Momart Drive, Easley (Dacusville Community), wife of the late Edgar M. Martin, Sr., passed away Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Manna Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Pickens.

Born in Dacusville, SC, the daughter of the late James Roy and Carrie Stroud Brown, Mrs. Martin was a graduate of Dacusville High School and a homemaker. She was a faithful member of Blue Ridge View Baptist Church, which she loved dearly, and was a member of the Etta Lesley Sunday School Class.

Surviving are three sons, Mike Martin and his wife Judy of Liberty, Charlie Martin and his wife Carol of Dacusville and Larry A. Martin and his wife Susan of Pickens; a daughter, Debbie M. Morris and her husband Randy of Dacusville; a brother, James Roy Brown of Dacusville; twelve grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, December 2, 2017 at the Blue Ridge View Baptist Church Cemetery, Pickens with Rev. Dr. Stuart Houston and Rev. H.C. Couch officiating.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the graveside.

Family members are at their respective homes.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Blue Ridge View Baptist Church Building Fund, 745 Wolf Creek Road, Pickens, SC 29671.
