Lois A. Hicks Richter, 64, of 322 Monroe Drive and wife of Douglas G. Richter, passed away Wednesday August 13, 2014 at McCall Hospice House.
Mrs. Richter was born in Queens, New York to Margaret Wenz Hicks, of Pelzer, SC and the late Arthur Milton Hicks. She was formerly a legal secretary.
Surviving in addition to her husband and mother, are two sons, Douglas M. Richter and his wife, Tiffany M., of Charlotte, NC and Timothy M. Richter, of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; a daughter, Alison M. Piazza and her husband, Christopher, of Simpsonville, SC; a brother, Arthur F. Hicks, of Pelzer, SC and 5 grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until 3:45 pm Saturday, August 23, 2014, prior to the service, at the funeral home.
Memorial services will be 4:00 pm Saturday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road. Following the service, there will be a gathering of family and friends at Taste of Distinction Restaurant, 2274 Powdersville Road. Easley, SC.
The family is at the home.
