Lois Marion Farrow Snoddy, 91, of 205 Wyatt Avenue and widow of Robert Hoyle Snoddy died Monday, March 26, 2012 in Clemson.

Born in Greenville, SC she was a daughter of the late Fred Marion and Bertie Hewitt Farrow. Mrs. Snoddy was the First Female Registered Jeweler, member American Gem Society in South Carolina. She and her husband owned and operated Clemson Jewelers in Clemson for many years. She was a member of Clemson United Methodist Church.

Surviving are one son, Robert Hoyle Snoddy, Jr. of Orangeburg, SC; two daughters Marion Collins-Balch and husband, C.A. Balch of Clemson and Caroline S. Roberts and husband, Steve of Pendleton; grandchildren, Robert H. Seabrook, Sara Holcombe, David E. Collins, Susan C. McElroy, Catherine S. Collins, Megan R. Cooper and Stephanie R. Brock; and 4 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:45 PM, Thursday prior to the service at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be 2 PM Thursday in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, Central with Rev. Dr. Keith Ray officiating. Burial will follow in Old Stone Church Cemetery, Clemson.
